Data Visualization for Education Design and Assessment

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain how interactive visualization can allow analysis of complex datasets
  2. Design basic visualizations using typical curricular and assessment datasets
  3. Formulate a plan for visualizing curricular and/or assessment data at their home institutions

While not essential, participants are encouraged to bring a laptop, if possible, loaded with Excel and/or the free Tableau Public edition (
